Housewives Of Oragne County Gretchen Birthday

Yes, today's the day: tonight at 21 at the seat of my photography club, it opened my first photo exhibit.

I never planned on doing a similar thing when, about a year and a half ago, I began my adventure into the wonderful world of photography, and instead here I am.

absolutely preview for readers of my blog, I realized the version of 'online', which you can see this link (just click 'Photo Exhibition' and have a few minutes of time).

thanks goes to all the regulars of the blog, which helped with their advice and continue to contribute to my growth.

Is It Ok To Eat Grapefruit While Taking Cardizem?

Monferrato, a new passion

I discovered quite by accident last fall Monferrato, and I was immediately struck: the landscape is a continuous succession of hills, at whose top there are villages where time is stopped and an air of authenticity.

this spring are already back then a couple of times to try to enjoy this wonderful calmly Piedmont area, which both have in common with the classic Tuscan countryside.

The area is dotted with many farms, located in the midst of varied pieces of land.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 45mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 30 sec, GND4

The man's work is evident by observing the hillsides , and over time has helped to define the look, always changing depending on the seasons and the years of crop rotation.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 24mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 40 sec, CPL, GND2

It 'really amazing the continuous change of earth tones, indicative of different compositions of the soil.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 34mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 39 sec, CPL, GND2

Its equidistance between the sea and the Alps promotes the formation of heaven-rich forms and volumes, that blend well with the area below.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 45mm, ISO 200, f/16, 15 sec, CPL, GND4

In some cases the show is moving.

D300, Nikon 12-24 at 12mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 30 sec, CPL, GND2

Then when you put even the notorious factor ' C 'of the landscape photographer, you can not miss the wonderful opportunity.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 45mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 60 sec, GND4

This photo inspired me to attempt a conversion white / black, I would like to have your opinion.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 45mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 60 sec, GND4

Adding the fact that in these places is very very good eating and drinking even better, I must say that I recommend it to everyone for a ride.

Thanksgiving again my Matthew, now trusted partner (or victim?) Of my photographic forays, as well as his friend George , always available at these excursions.

Breastfeed To Husband

Easter Lake Maggiore

This year for Easter I had planned some 'photographic output, stimulated by 5 days off I had available to lash out.

Then the weather has had a hand, giving me only a few small burst of good weather, with a prevalence of adverse conditions. Hiking abandoned my dreams, I thought to try to find something interesting in the area that I attend regularly, the Lake Maggiore from Stresa that goes up to Verbania.

And so my son and I we fell in a couple of excellent sunsets on the shores of the Gulf Borromeo, managing to capture the beautiful Borromean Islands in a light / atmosphere really nice. The first evening was dedicated to the beautiful Isola dei Pescatori.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 34mm, ISO 200, f/11, 1 / 2 sec, CPL, GND2

We focused, in the next evening, on the Isola Bella recovery suggestions always at sunset.

D300, Nikon 12-24 at 12mm, ISO 200, f/22, 1 / 2 sec, CPL, GND4

Again we managed to catch the waves generated by a boat, getting a shot 'steam' ...

D300, Nikon 12-24 at 12mm, ISO 200, f/22, 0.8 sec, CPL, GND4

Time passed, the air was warm and silence enveloped us magically, so we waited for hours to enjoy the reflections of blue lights that burned the lake.

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 42mm, ISO 200, f/11, 30 sec

D300, Nikon 24-70 at 38mm, ISO 200, f/11, 30 sec

The following days were very bad time, then the reflex remained good in the warm good. But on Easter Monday the sun was shining, so we had a nice walk on the lake side at Verbania, for dry the moisture absorbed.

D300, Nikon 12-24 at 12mm, ISO 200, f/13, 1 / 25 sec, GND4

The colors and kidnap me constantly, urging them to take .

D300, Nikon 12-24 at 12mm, ISO 200, f/16, 1 / 20 sec, GND4

In short, it is true that we often do not realize the beauty that you have available under your nose.

A special thanks goes to my son Matthew who followed me in all these outputs, it also produces great shots of him for a 11 year old boy. I promised him that soon will have a post all for himself where he can show his work.
