Caring Quotes And Sayings Cancer

Alpe Devero - a fairy-tale

I waited patiently. The snow continued to fall, in these days of celebration, and my thoughts were always turned to my beloved Alpe Devero. Imagine the splendor of which had to be cloaked, he savored every corner reset from visions of my memory.

Then, finally, comes the big day: wake up at dawn, sleepy faces and groans of several children, but part of it. The car trudges up the hill leading to the large parking lot, fit the chains in no time, I do not want to miss a second, I want to taste them all, without exception.

And what unfolds before our eyes is something wonderful, almost touched by the violence with which he greets me this beauty.

For Abortionthesis Statement

Monte San Francisco

The usual trio: the little sister, the baryon carrier and myself.
The mountain range to this day and not at risk (and 'planned a violent disturbance in the afternoon) and' Mount San Francisco, I insisted on the north side, for the refuge Panepucci (or Alexander), according to this Route:

and that 'what we have then actually post below.
I think the Paradise Valley.

At 8:30 we are at Capannelle Pass, and get ready:

As you can see the snow is not 'a lot, but we can still leave with your skis.
I could not remember so 'long the cart path and into the woods leading to the refuge Panepucci ....
In any case, when passing the shelter, Paradise Valley, packed snow, appears in all its glory:

From this other shot is the best known refuge Panepucci:

The Plains of Cavallari and 'a great lookout point that offers this incredible view over the mountains of Maiella, eighty kilometers south-east:

continue to rise, but let' s announced disturbance approaching from the south with huge black clouds.
We are a bit 'more' slower than expected and the disruption and 'a couple of hours in advance, occurring around noon, when we are dealing with the crest of Rotigliano, for the last tear that should bring us to the summit.
Wind and 'very strong, intense cold and the visibility is' virtually nothing ... are the top thanks to GPS, and the waypoints saved in 2003 when I climbed in the summer with my boyfriend '.

We aim to cross the valley, but we can get only by carefully following our tracks up and the GPS screen. More 'than skiing ... lose altitude. We can not even enjoy our Paradise Valley. Somehow regained the shelter Panepucci: we spent more 'than an hour to do 400 meters in altitude. Downhill. With skis!
We rest a few minutes and take some pictures:

so ', just to remind us what can' be ugly and cold in January, the Gran Sasso.

When we get to the car we are still a little 'red-faced:

We struggled, we suffered the wind, fog and cold. And we have not, in fact, even skiing! What can I say? Gita instructive. :-) Rich teachings. At least two!

Mario

PS: we will then know the tragedy that has' consumed within hours, near the Sella di Monte Aquila. A thought for those who are no 'more', even if you do not know.

Insurance Claim Counter Offer Letter

Rothwald - Christmas Eve 2009

On Christmas Eve, as a small custom, dedicated to an excursion with snowshoes, because it is one of those days where there is hardly anyone around, they are all busy with preparations for the next day.

This year, given the heavy snowfall, the choice of destination was apparently very large, but the danger of avalanches (a 3 / 4 across the Piedmont), made us opt for a safe place Rothwald .

Rothwald is located a few kilometers after the Simplon Pass in Switzerland, and is a very nice place: great woods find beautiful wooden chalets, higher then the spaces are huge, with grasslands the eye and always in the background, the beautiful shapes of the "four to act as guardians of the Valais.

The amount of snow fall is incredible, it makes all the magnificent landscape, creating waves of considerable height. Our goal is waiting for us, and we continue in silence, trying to enjoy this wonder at every step.
