between the small and the Big Top of Montecroce Racines stands a small peak marked on maps of the portion of m. 2527. I've named the
Mittlere Kreuzspitze (Montecroce Punta di Mezzo) - but without the cross : it is rather steep (north facing) and the impression of being a slope avalanche except that these days because it is marked by numerous ski tracks .
