guest tour: beautiful Snow Firn altitude: m. 1590
Inspired by the trip that Andreas OvertheTop reported on Saturday, I started to do this beautiful top that I had never done (starting from the parking lot of a Pfitscherhof Platz / Pfitsch).
At 11:40 I was on top of m. 2999 (with handheld GPS and raising his hand towards the 3,000 m high score!), There was not even a puff of wind, and at 12:30 I got on the skis and I followed the path of descent of Georg Miro and his dog had just fallen down a slope apparently still virgin.
Result: a descent unbroken Firn fantastic on to the edge of the woods.
NB: The initial ascent route has numerous interruptions of the snow and take off your skis should be 4 times in descent but are unable to take advantage of a steep channel that begins halfway between the beginning of the junction for the forest and pasture Pristling (mistakenly called Bürstling hut on the maps Tobacco) and offering a descent not just fantastic but still interesting and very rewarding.
